The Challenge
Nora operated with only 55 seats in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood, making physical expansion impossible. Owner Phil Siddu needed to maximize revenue through off-premise channels without adding staff. Despite having efficient POS integration through Chowly and Toast, the restaurant lacked visibility, automated marketing, and customer engagement tools to sustain growth beyond operational efficiency.
The Solution
Implementation followed three steps: first, integrated Toast POS with third-party marketplaces, eliminating manual order entry. Second, launched first-party online ordering through a branded Marketing Website. Third, expanded to the full Chowly Platform, adding loyalty program, SEO-optimized website, Google Business Profile management, AI-driven search optimization, and customer surveys. Over 40 platform updates were deployed in two months.
